I found your site and loved it!! Attached is a pic of a rescue cat that I had found in another state while visiting my father. He was near death, I was told he hated people, couldn't eat or walk and so skinny. I took him to our local vet who told me he was the oldest cat he has ever seen, according ot the vet well over 20 years old. Most of his teeth were abscessed, he had a bowed ligament in his back leg and was absolutely covered in fleas and ticks. We cleaned him up, took care of his abcesses with medicine and gave him plenty of rest and food. He lost nearly all his teeth, but I love his crooked smile! He is the most loving and appreciative animal I have ever seen. Here he is resting on my chest, drunk with love!! Oh, his name, I just call him Grandpa. Thanks. Photo : Cherie Reddick |
